GOD LONG AGO FORBADE THE ACTS OF HOMOSEXUALS AND ORDERED DEATH FOR THOSE WHO PRACTICED THEM. LEVITICUS 18:22 '"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.". LEVITICUS 20:13 "'If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them." ALTHOUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT DOES NOT SPEAK OF A DEATH PENALTY, HOMOSEXUAL ACTS ARE STILL A SINFUL AND ABOMONABLE PRACTICE BEFORE GOD. ROMANS 1:24 "Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen." ROMANS 1:26 "For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;...." THE DESTRUCTION OF SODOM AND GOMORRAH IS AN EXAMPLE OF GOD;S ANGER UPONTHOSE WHO PRACTICE HOMOSEXUAL ACTS. GENESIS 13:13 "But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the LORD." GENESIS 19:4 "Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house. And they called to Lot and said to him, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally." GENESIS 19:24 "Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens." HOMOSEXUALS, UNLESS THEY TURN FROM THEIR WAYS, WILL NOT INHERIT THEKINGDOM OF GOD. 1 CORINTHIANS 6:9 " Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." EVEN WEARING CLOTHING OF THE OPPOSITE SEX IS DETESTABLE TO GOD. DEUTERONOMY 22:5 "A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God." HOMOSEXUALITY: ACQUIRED BY BIRTH OR BY LEARNING? Everyone is born with a God-given sex drive. God has set rules as to how this drive is to be satisfied. The rule is simple: A man and a woman are to be united in marriage. GOD DOES NOT WANT: 1). Homosexuals. 2). Adulterers. 3). Prostitutes. Therefore, whether a homosexual comes into being, by birth, by learning or by choice is immaterial. The practice of homosexuals is wrong before God and unacceptable to Him. WHAT THEN? GOD CAN AND WILL FORGIVE HOMOSEXUALS FOR THEIR ACTS IF THEY BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. ROMANS 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." 1 CORINTHIANS 6:11 "...And such were some of you (homosexuals). But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." (NOTICE: "such WERE some of you." You can change). 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new". 1 JOHN 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." WE ARE TO GLORIFY GOD IN OUR BODIES. 1 CORINTHIANS 6:19 "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
