All rights reserved. The Bible Talks about FORGIVENESS. BECAUSE YOU BELIEVED IN JESUS, GOD HAS FORGIVEN YOU ALL YOUR SINS. NOT SOME. NOT CERTAIN ONES. ALL YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN. PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE. ISAIAH 38:17 ".... for You have cast all my sins behind Your back." ROMANS 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus,....". COLOSSIANS 1:14 ".... in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins." COLOSSIANS 2:13 "And you, being dead in yourtrespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,...." 1 JOHN 1:7 "...and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." "ALL" SINS INCLUDES THE WORST POSSIBLE SIN(S) YOU HAVE COMMITTED. (King David committed adultery and murder. God forgave him). 2 SAMUEL 12:13 "Then David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD." And Nathan said to David, "The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die." (King Mannessah, recorded in 2 KINGS 21:1-17 and 2 CHRONICLES 33: 1-13, built altars for Baal idol worship, worshipped the stars, built local altars in God's house, practiced witchcraft, used divination, dealt with mediums and spiritists, and killed many innocent people in Jerusalem. When God punished him by taking away his throne,Manessah admitted his many ins and humbled himself before the Lord. God forgave him and put him back on his throne. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE UNPARDONABLE SIN THAT IS NOT FORGIVEN BY GOD. MARK 3:28, 29 "Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation." (Speaking out against the Holy Ghost in this manner is not what a born-again believer would be doing. The sin of blasphemy is possible only by the mouths of unbelievers who are refusing the attempts by the Holy Ghost to bring them to Jesus). GOD FORGAVE YOU, NOW YOU FORGIVE. 1), FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER. LUKE 17:3,4 "Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him." EPHESIANS 4:32 "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you." COLOSSIANS 3:13 "... bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do." 2). FORGIVE EVEN YOUR ENEMIES. LUKE 23:34 "Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." (Jesus on the cross). ACTS 7:59,60 And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not charge them with this sin." And when he had said this, he fell asleep." SINCE I AM SINLESS BEFORE GOD AND HAVE SALVATION GUARANTEED, CAN I DO WHAT I PLEASE? WOULD DELIBERATE SINNING BE THE FRUIT OF A BORN-AGAIN BELIEVER? ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE SALVATION GUARANTEED, YOU CAN SLIP OUT OF FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD AND BE OPEN TO PUNISMENT. HEBREWS 12:6 "For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives." HEBREWS 12:10 "For they (Parents) indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness." (God wants believers to live a life in keeping with their position in Christ). YOU ARE A SINNER. BUT YOU ARE A FORGIVEN SINNER. PRAISE THE LORD!
