TOPICS LIST at: http://www.eztech.com/bibletalks/topics.htm EMAIL ADDRESS: bibletalks@eztech.com Bible passages taken from New King James Version. Copyright 1982 by Thomas Nelson, Inc. WHAT IF WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT A PARTICULAR TOPIC AS REVEALED BY "BIBLE TALKS" IS NOT IN AGREEMENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT OR COME TO BELIEVE? WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? IF YOU BELONG TO A CHURCH: 1). See your pastor. Let him read the Bible Talks that are giving you trouble. Give the pastor a chance to explain his or his church's stand on the topic in question. Make sure his explanation is backed by Bible passages and makes a list of those passages. 2). At home, compare the Bible passages given to you by your pastor with the passages in Bible Talks. You may come to a conclusion at this point. If you are still uncertain, mail the passages to me. After examining and evaluating them, I will either agree with your pastor and make changes in Bible Talks or I will present you with additional evidence that may help you reach a conclusion. Now you may be able to make up your mind what to believe. 3). But suppose you still aren't sure? Pray for understanding and wait on the Lord. The Holy Spirit will give you insight in time or at once. Then you will know. IF YOU DON'T BELONG TO A CHURCH: 1). Pray for guidance and insight. Take your Bible and look up every verse given in Bible Talks. Read what comes before the verse and after the verse. Ask yourself, "What is God telling me here?" Rephrase the passage in your own words. What is it saying? 2). If you are still unsatisfied, go to someone you know that has some Biblical knowledge or even call on some pastor who would be willing to see you. If you do this then from this point on follow the steps given above for those who attend a church. 3). Don't hesitate to call on me for additional information or explanation.
